Project Five -

Sloane Square, SW3

This project was one of the few commercial projects we have undertaken, consisting completely of soft landscaping and for one of the oldest and most prestigious development companies in the country. The site was a communal roof garden situated on the third floor, in the middle of 28 luxury apartments.

An 80 tonne mobile crane was used to lift over 30 tonnes of topsoil and four semi-mature trees as well as numerous specimen shrubs.

They were utterly reliable, available at the end of the telephone and smoothly project-managed specific requirements such as liaison with the council regarding road closures and with the crane company regarding the lifting over three storeys of many tonnes of soil and mature trees which happened to be on the hottest day on record."
